Week 8 - The preparation begins

So it's week 8 of my Nirvana challenge and I feel good.

I have been on 2 weeks holiday and focussing on myself and my boys.

I have not been able to jump on my scale as mine broke as I started this challenge. I swear that that was  sign that I should not fall in the trap of a "serial weigher" and then spiral into comfort eating because I did not get the scale result I wanted.

No scale, so how on earth have I been keeping track?

I have been going by the fit and feel of my clothes and pushing myself a bit with my exercise.

I am armed with my fitbit flex to count my steps and activity daily. I add my food diary via myfitnesspal.com.

These are my motivators. I am most proud of the fact that if I don't reach my 10,000 steps and 1hr of activity, I go for a walk with the boys or do some activity that will help me burn a few calories (get your mind out of the gutter - I mean jump on my Wii and do zumba or step plus).

Week 8 menu plan is set to be simple as I go back to work on Tuesday.
