And I'm back....

After a couple of months of taking care of one or 2 priorities I am now back on my weight loss journey. Nothing hill was definitely a blur and since I was not at my ideal weight, I thought I would make some time to lose those pounds. I am very uncomfortable in this bigger skin.

Now I have my Body by Vi products for the next 90 days and I got my gym issue sorted. I really don't have any excuses. Here is to my 90 day challenge!

Day 15..... I think

Today has gone by in a blur as I have been a busy bee.

I managed to do my 30 mins of exercise, and eat as properly as I could albeit late. The scales went down another lb today so now at 243. Here's hoping it continues to go down.

Tomorrow is my birthday and I plan to stay on track tone a stone down by next week.

Day 11 - Update

Woohoo! I'm another lb down this morning. I've had my 2 shakes already for today. I'm on my second pint of water today.

As I gave my measurements in last night my focus is there as I have a short space of time to lose my 50lbs by the end of August.

Today's dinner will be a green salad, beet root and tuna.

Yesterday I had fresh salad and grilled chicken with oven roasted veg. The day before I did salad and chicken, chorizo and veg skewers.

Update .......... Day 9

What a day! We are having fantastic weather so got outside for a bit of exercise when I picked my first born up from nursery. The rest of the day was spent washing and washing and more washing! I also managed my squats and 10sec planks.

Food wise has been good. Had my shopping delivered and got myself some trail mix to snack on plus my veggies for the next week. I really have no excuses. I had my 2 shakes : for brekkie and lunch. Dinner consisted of a medley of green beans, broccoli and beets with grilled chicken.

Day 8...... The weekend is here again


I love this:



So I have been off the radar for a couple of days as I was away visiting family. It is not easy dieting whilst away. I certainly can't stick to any diet 100% as I don't have the comfort of my home but I eat as sensibly as I could. The good thing about visiting my family is that they are all very active so had my fair share of exercise this weekend.
Today I had my shakes on time, had grilled salmon with broccoli and sweet potato for dinner, had 4+ ltrs of water and did some exercise (walking and pushing the buggy and 3 10 sec planks). My scale remained the same from the weekend but I can see the lbs dropping off from tomorrow. My birthday is in a week's time and I want to be down a stone (14lbs) by then. No pressure.
On the costume front, my bodysuit is being made. Ahhhhhhhh! I did not even give my measurements yet. Been told that measurements are based on previous costume. Ahhhhhh! talk about pressure!

Day 3 - getting into it




I want to try and post most days here as it will keep me on the straight and narrow and I will have a diary of my eating and exercise.

Yesterday, I did squats and lunges whilst I was doing some baking for a friend's birthday cake. I need to be creative with my exercise as it is tough otherwise. I had my 4 pints of water and my 2 shakes. Started the day with blueberry banana shake and ended with chocolate banana shake.

Jumped on the scale this morning and the scales are definitely going down so yay me!!! I have been a bit silly today and have not had much of a lunch so by 4pm was feeling a bit dizzy. Sat down for a few mins with a cup of tea, half a large whole meal pitta and ham. Will have some cherry tomatoes and some more water and then dinner to end the day.
Need to get back to my cake decorating. It's going to be a long night.
